Estilos gerenciales y su influencia en la generación de valor de las Instituciones Prestadoras de Salud de la Región Caribe

At present, the generation of added value has exceeded the economic limits, to be conceived in the\nbusiness sphere, as an integral practice in which the institutions providing health care IPS intervene.\nIt is for this reason that the objective is to determine how managerial styles and abilities\ninfluence the generation of value in the IPS of the Caribbean region. For the effects, a descriptive\n/ documentary research, qualitative method was established. The technique selected was the\nstructured interview that allowed the interaction with the managers of twelve IPS. It was determined\nthat in the context of the study there are important weaknesses that affect the generation\nof value in the management of the IPS and consequently they face risks and minimize the use\nof the opportunities that arise in dynamic environments. It concludes on the need to strengthen\nthe leadership capacity in managers as a determinant factor to optimize the management that\ndrives the generation of value in process related to employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders\nand related sectors.
