Estudio de factibilidad para la migración a Cloud de la plataforma tecnológica de la Empresa Asistecooper S.A.

Resumen

The advancement of technology has provided a better way of using computer resources, thus allowing more and more companies to adopt the structure of a computational cloud, in order to save economic resources and invest these resources in improving the business of the company, this model allows to obtain on demand and from anywhere in the world with Internet connection, a set of technological resources that are adapted to the needs of each company. The present feasibility study has been developed due to the importance of having a strategic management of information and technological resources of the company, that allow to mitigate the operational risks and to improve the efficiency in its internal operations processes, thanks to this technological advance. The first chapter details the objectives, scope, justification, and approach of the problem that is developed in the present thesis. The second chapter summarizes the theoretical basis of the use of cloud computing as a technological solution. The third chapter is based on identifying the current status of the ASISTECOOPER S.A. technological platform, in the face of cloud migration. The fourth chapter provides a comparative analysis of the most relevant cloud providers in the market. In the fifth chapter, the feasibility study for the cloud migration of the ASISTECOOPER S.A technological platform is developed, compared to its current solution. The sixth chapter defines, based on the feasibility study, a proposed action plan aimed at enabling ASISTECOOPER S.A. Can migrate its technological platform to the cloud. Finally, in the seventh chapter, a compendium of the conclusions obtained from the development of the present work is presented, and the recommendations of the case are presented.
