Investigando la salud democrática de la escuela

Resumen

RESUMEN Voy a hablar a partir de una investigacion cooperativa sobre la democracia en la escuelai. No es un informe ni es una sintesis de los hallazgos y de las sorpresas encontradas. El texto se construye ahora sobre alguno de los problemas-clave que en el proceso y la experiencia vivida en la investigacion han ido develandose con mas significatividad. En relacion con esa compleja y confusa cuestion de la democracia en las escuelas y tras analizar nuestro recorrido por diferentes busquedas bibliograficas, observamos que la investigacion educativa ha centrado su interes sobre esta cuestion basicamente en lo que podriamos considerar la hegemonia de una perspectiva estructural-funcionalista en los analisis, a la que contribuyen -voluntaria o involuntariamente- no pocas de las investigaciones consultadas. En tales casos, la problematizacion se detiene en las manifestaciones externas del sistema, en las relaciones entre sus elementos, en su dependencia funcional. Y en ocasiones el analisis se detiene tambien en la redistribucion del poder y los intereses en juego. Palabras Clave: Democracia, escuela, investigacion cooperativa. ABSTRACT SEARCHING THE DEMOCRATIC HEALTH OF THE SHOOL I am going to talk from a cooperative research about democracy in school. It is not a report either a synthesis of the findings and the surprises founded. The text is constructed now on one of the key problem, than the process and experience lived in the study, it has been revealed with more significance. In relation to that complex and confused point of democracy in schools and after analyzing our route by different literary review, we observed that the educative research has centered its interest on this point basically in which we could consider the hegemony of a structural-functionalist perspective in the analyses, to which they contribute voluntary or involuntarily not to few of the literary reviewed. In such cases, the problem stops in the external manifestations of the system, in the relations between its elements and their functional dependency. And sometimes the analysis stops also in the redistribution of the power and the interests in game. Key words: Democracy in the school, cooperative research.
