Resumen

This argumentative essay dealt with in a timely manner, whose impact has been the migration process in the city of Cali (Colombia) citizen security. In accordance with this objective, a chronological compilation of the phenomenon of migration in the world was made to then review related to this phenomenon in the capital of Valle del Cauca, in the social, economic, demographic, cultural and environmental context.
