Perfiles de estrés laboral y salud psicológica en docentes de educación básica

The role of teachers becomes relevant in achieving quality education, so the implications of their work process are essential. The objective of the study is defining the profiling of effort-reward and health in teachers of the different levels of basic education. 332 teachers participated (59.9% women and 40.1% men) belonging to 80 public schools located in Ciudad Obregón, Mexico, under random sampling who responded to the Labor Stress Questionnaire and GHQ-12 instruments. The variables Account with an undetermined contract and Level of Training present significant results in correlation with the Occupational Stress Questionnaire, for the GHQ-12 instrument, the variable Approximate number of students in their group with different capacities or special needs. It is analyzed in terms of the frequency and type of psychosocial risks of the teaching body and its relationship with the management of a culture of peace in the school.
