In this study the results of a qualitative research are presented, which was conducted with a group of 16 college students living in student status of internal migration in Bogota DC. Participants described their experiences in relation to the foods you currently eat, meal times a day and performing wherever consume. Heavy consumption of fast foods, food in restaurants and food preparation at home: Among the dietary practices of students, primarily identified three trends. Regarding food groups, was found having a usual consumption of fast foods, packaged foods, candy and soft drinks, as well as low consumption of fruits and vegetables. Additionally, students have omission of meal time and increased consumption of food away from home or ordering services. Finally, taking on the review of literature, the discussion of the results is presented in relation to migration and feeding practices, together with the conclusions and recommendations arising from the research, education and implementation of strategies to help Food and Nutrition Security in this population.
