Resumen
The purpose of this work is the articulation of the economic sectors through a historical journey that allows us to analyze their behavior within the Colombian economy in the last two decades. It began from the economic opening of 1991, an event that brought great changes in Colombian international trade and that in some way favored the country’s economic growth. Additionally, economic concepts are related to the dynamics of trade both nationally and internationally and it is analyzed how the sectors of the economy have faced the changes brought about by the internalization of markets. The book is divided into three chapters. The first deals with the primary sector, the second the secondary sector and the third the tertiary sector. A detailed description of each sector is made, its evolution, the key factors that drive or slow it down and its participation in international trade. The work ends with a series of conclusions that allow the reader a more holistic view of the behavior of each sector, going through its history and behavior, not only within the national economy, but also within the international sphere.
