Resumen
The article analyzes the relationship between University Social Responsibility (USR) and the use of social algorithms in Peruvian higher education, with the aim of examining how digital transformation can be aligned with principles of equity, transparency, and institutional accountability. The study adopts a qualitative multi-method approach that combines document analysis, analysis of institutional case studies, and semi-structured interviews with specialists. The results identify three critical dimensions for the ethical integration of algorithmic technologies in universities: educational algorithmic justice, institutional transparency, and digital sustainability. Based on these findings, the study proposes the Socially Responsible Algorithmic Governance (SRAG) model, aimed at integrating technological innovation and USR in the academic management of higher education institutions.
