Resumen

this work will reflect on the construction of analysis units in the main migration theories, considering several aspects: the multidimensionality of the conceptualization, measurement and analysis of the migratory phenomenon, its very definition, and operationalization issues in terms of time and space, considering that measurement is indirect and that there is little information on individuals. This work is laid out reviewing the different chronological theories developed from scientific development itself in the discipline and their connection with other fields.
