Resumen
This article explores the renewed process of expansion of the agricultural frontier, and the constant migration of indigenous population to different urban centers like the Metropolitan Region of Buenos Aires. In order to do so, we investigate the impact of the most recent large agricultural investments on the processes of urbanization and concentration of indigenous labor. We show that beyond the negative impact of territorial expropriation, the breakdown of domestic economies and the labor circuits of the 20th century; indigenous populations have reoriented their migratory movements according to a regional format based on the struggle for territory, identity and the access to better living conditions.
