Salud sexual y reproductiva: diagnóstico en la costa caribe colombiana

Resumen

This analytical study ofthe actual state ofthe sexual and reproductive health was made based on a series of interviews to the governmental authorities related to the sexuality subject and on a bibliographic revision about this subject in the Colombian Caribbean. This investigation had the 8 proposed points by Flores Colombino (2002) as the\ncentral axes:\n1) political commitment,\n2) explicit policies,\n3) legislation,\n4) good sexual education,\n5) sufficient Infrastructure,\n6) investigation,\n7) suitable monitoring, and\n8) culture.\nThe positive and negative points found in each axis are presented and possible solutions are considered.
