Resumen

This article characterizes the processes of the technological surveillance and its \ntendency towards technological intelligence. The usefulness of technological \nobservatories in a Cuban university of technical sciences is demonstrated. Such \nobservatories allow the identification of strategic programs of investigation, \ntendencies in the engineering and architecture teaching, as well as leaders in \ntechnical sciences and themes published in journals of the Web of Science. The \nsystematic implementation of the technological surveillance and the design of new \nservices with mining and discovery of knowledge allow guiding the strategic lines of \ninvestigation toward a pertinent innovation.
