La migración de los niños Venezolanos y la observancia de sus derechos de acuerdo con los regímenes internacionales adoptados por Colombia

Resumen

The thesis entitled MIGRATION OF VENEZUELAN CHILDREN AND THE OBSERVANCE OF THEIR RIGHTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INTERNATIONAL REGIMES ADOPTED BY COLOMBIA aims to find the response of the migratory measures of the government of Juan Manuel Santos, to the International Human Rights Standards applicable to Venezuelan children in Colombia. As a first step, it is intended to describe the international and regional regimes applicable to children in migratory status, and in which Colombia is a part of. Additionally, the measures adopted during the government of Juan Manuel Santos, regarding the migration of foreigners to Colombia, are described. Finally, the relationship between International Human Rights Standards adopted by Colombia and the migratory measures in Santos' government was analyzed, in order to know what is being violated and why. This analysis is carried out in the light of the Theory of Neoliberal Institutionalism by Robert Keohane and Joseph Nye.
