Resumen

The resources include petroleum, found chiefly in stratigraphic traps in Paleocene-Eocene formations of the Santa Elena peninsula, coal (lignitic and subbituminous), gold-bearing quartz veins and placers, silver, copper, manganese, and various nonmetals.
